Entry Day & Judging

General Livestock Rules & Regulations...

1. No livestock showing clinical signs of contagious or infectious disease, including active ring worm, warts, lice, and mange, will be admitted to any show.

2. Official health certificate (AAI-13) issued by the bureau of Animal industry must accompany all cattle and goats for show.

3. Interstate animals exhibited at Pennsylvania shows or fairs must meet the Pennsylvania requirements and must be accompanied by an interstate health certificate to be eligible for entry.

4. Important Rule - Certification by the owner and accredited veterinarian that the identified animal(s) is (are) not known to have been exposed to scrapie.

5. No animal under quarantine for any disease, or showing clinical evidence of infectious or contagious disease will be admitted to the fair.

6. All horse and cattle entries must be accompanied by an official health certificate that clearly states the entries come from herds in which there are no animals showing evidence of infectious disease or under quarantine.

7. Any animal of unthrifty nature, unsuitable condition or which can not be satisfactorily handled under show conditions must be removed from the grounds.

8. All animals must be fed, watered, and cared for by the owner, or exhibitor who must be on call 24 hours a day.

9. All exhibitors must have all animals listed for competition on the grounds by 5:00PM Tuesday July 24, 2007, opening day of the fair.

10. All animals must remain on the premises until 6:00PM Saturday July 29, 2007, unless prior arrangements have been made by a fair official.

11. Judging will take place on Thursday July 26, 2007. Time will be announced at a later date.
